Big Discounts

How is that if you are on a Limited Income even on the Bread Line, you get very little financial help and have to pay top price for most things, apart from Charity Shops or Car Boot Sales.

Take Costco: It is very nice if you are a Trader you are most welcome to join for a fee of £26.40.

Individual Membership only applies if you are one of the following:
Employee of Bank/Finance, Local Government, Civil Servant, Medical /Health Service, Police Force, Fireman, Post Office, Airline, Chartered Architect, Optician, Civil Engineer, Pharmacist, Surveyor, Accountant, Dentist, Solicitor Barrister /Magistrate, Retired employee a US. Gold Card or UK Preferred Company Fee £36,00 inc Vat.

They guarantee that if anything is faulty Fridge Cooker Computers etc , it will be replaced for a new one.

It is apparent that no matter how hard some people work, they will never have a decent standard of living.

The Minimum wage should be £10.00 per hour.

The Government has always wanted to keep the poorer section of the Community on their knees and look down on them.
It is so true that the Rich get Richer and the Poor get Poorer, especially in the UK.

Not sure about this, the poor are definitely less poor in relative terms than say four decades ago, it could be the case that folks have become better at catching crumbs.

People in this country are entitled to what they need, not what they want, for that they should sort it out for themselves.

I remember my childhood well. Very well. Today is Shangri-la compared to then.

As for the minimum wage, that was a VERY bad move. Free markets in all things are always the best markets.

Iti is true that there is not the same abject poverty as there was years ago when men and women used to go to the tips to find tiny bits of coal to light a fire
It is all relative as standards are now higher.

The Rich still get richer and are better off in every way.

Yes, Free Markets are usually best if you get a 'Good a day's Pay' for a 'Good day's Work', except there are always greedy Bosses who expect people to work for peanuts, and many still get away with it.

Shangri-la can be very stressful with the huge increase in Drug taking, Alcohol abuse, and crime as well, complete with the absence of morals.

Well thankfully I'm none of the above and have zero interest in Coscto and the things they have to offer.

My own experience suggests otherwise.
I ran a power electronics company for fifty years. To get the best staff from shop floor level or design engineering you had to pay market rates.

Seasonal fruit picking might be different.
