Re: Rain's arrived.

Marge's ex-boss is having a barbecue tomorrow. According to the weather reports, it's going to pour down with possible thunderstorms, so I don't know what he's going to do. I thought he might have cancelled it, but we've heard nothing yet.
We'll take our waterproofs!

Yes, thanks. We haven't heard otherwise.
He does have a large garage, though!

My help has arrived, they are 3 hours late due to the number of branches down.

Re: Rain's arrived.

No rain here at the moment. It rained a little an hour ago, then bright sunshine. Just becoming dull again now.

Completely opposite to the assurances of thunderstorms and heavy rain by the Met Office, despite their possessing one of the most powerful computers in the land.

I have long taken the attitude to completely ignore what they say and take things as I find them!

Re: Rain's arrived.

The rain has stopped at last here, how long for goodness knows. Gaps of blue sky showing and the sun is peeping through.

He can stay out in the rain cooking on the barbecue while everyone eats inside. It's the best thing for ex-bosses.

Here too. My beans almost blew off and I haven't eaten them yet.

It's blown my favourite Dahlia over which was in a big stone pot! I am leaving it lying down for the mo, it will probably be safer than getting knocked over twice.

Will your beans blow this way in time for me Sunday dinner, dongle?
I'll try and catch them in me pinny.
