As recreational sea angler I am not allowed to take a single sizeable bass that I catch until April 2020 and then only one is allowed until October 31st when the no take limit is imposed on me again.

If I'm a commercial fisherman from Spain or Denmark or Holland or France, its no problem. I can take as much as I like up to my limits.

Even if I catch a sizeable bass and it dies as I reel it in, I have to put it back, dead.

These are the stupid rules dreamed up by the idiots in Brussels.

As part of the CFP.

Although I'm yet to see someone patrolling the shoreline it is still a criminal offence for me to take a bass home with me.
