The NHS is a political football. The Tories have always tried to destroy it. But it was the 2012 act that created the biggest shambles. And bear in mind that if it had been left up to a Churchill-led government in 1945-51 it is unlikely in the extreme that the NHS would ever have existed at all.
Churchill's Tories voted AGAINST the formation of an NHS no less than 21 times before the act to establish it was passed.
Food for thought next time Johnson (whose miserable life it saved) & his merry crew bang-on about how much they "value" this rightly-treasured institution.
