Re: Tell The Truth...Do You Dodge Charity Collectors In The Supermarkets?
I give to charities in other ways. At the moment i've given about £300 in quality goods as i'm moving house and i'm still bagging stuff up for them so i think it's better than a few pence in a box... Also a few years back i gave about 20 bags of clothing..Re: Tell The Truth...Do You Dodge Charity Collectors In The Supermarkets?
I now walk past, once I would have donated.Re: Tell The Truth...Do You Dodge Charity Collectors In The Supermarkets?
Quite often there are charity collectors in the foyer of our local Morrisons and I have to admit that I do always stop and give some loose change to them these days ..I used to avoid and evade lol but think now I ought to be able to spare some loose change to give.Re: Tell The Truth...Do You Dodge Charity Collectors In The Supermarkets?
I don't mind putting a few coins in for any worthy charity but, if it is not a charity that I would choose to support, I just walk past them. I never give large sums as you cannot be sure what the money will be used for.
