I have no doubt that there are now two distinct Labour parties: the Old School Labour party and the Momentum/Marxist Labour party.
This is almost certainly the situation regarding their politicians, but I suspect it may also be the same when it comes to the voting public.
This latter situation is perhaps the most worrying. I'd like to think that there are very few voters who support the Marxist party; mainly staunch militant union bosses and feeble-minded snowflakes who are so very easily swayed by trendy ideas.
I sincerely hope that the vast majority of those who still vote Labour are the traditional moderate working men (and women!). My reason for this is that if the two Labour parties should split, we would have a much more reasonable alternative for the Conservatives who, of course, are being made extremely unpopular by 'you know who' and are quite likely to lose the next GE if she continues in the way she is.
