I read that article this morning and found it very thought provoking. If Norway thinks that way then surely other countries must see the EU in the same light? I have to say that this is the first I've heard of Norway withholding funds from EU projects because of some Polish towns' homophobia and political problems in Hungary.

The Norwegian government said it examined the values set out in the European Convention on Human Rights and judged the Polish declarations on LGBTQ-free zones to be incompatible with those values.
“The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has stated that these zones are humanity-free zones and that they have no place in Europe,” Ziolkowski of the Norwegian foreign ministry said. “And they have no place in our grant schemes either.”
You noticed of course your article is about implementing EU regulations into national law? (With UK in 14th place alongside bulgaria) In breaking international treaties the UK is in a class of its own. You'll hear when standing before the ECJ.
