According to this Article anyway. Not sure if it's true for Everyone as this doesn't seem to be the Case for me.

Re: Painkillers cause Headaches.

It is the same with antibiotics, the body becomes ammuned to them so they do not work properly. Headache tablets do the same, leave the headache tablets alone for a few weeks and then they will work again.
Personally I never use headache tablets, prefer to go outside and get some fresh air into my system, take my thoughts elsewhere and clear any signs of stress.

Yes, regular use of some painkillers can cause a paradoxical headache. Antibrown is not quite right about antibiotics, though. Bacteria can become resistant to antibiotics, but the body does not become immune to them.

Something I was made aware of as a migraine sufferer though painkillers proved useless anyway. I stopped getting migraine when I reached the menopause, the cause proved to be hormonal.

Well all I can say is that I never get headaches and I take painkillers every day for my knee.

Hmmm... I didn't make that connection but I'd have to say I can't recall a migraine since I went through it either. Interesting!

I am fortunate, I never suffer from headaches. I avoid painkillers as much as possible as they seem to have the effect of making me very sleepy.

I have a headache at the moment but won't take any tablets unless it becomes unbearable.
