As a diabetic 2, my GP asked me not to take it.

I take no other medication except for eye drops for dry eye. This particular doctor at our practice is a geriatrician so I'll do as I'm told. I think prescription guidelines must change all the time. Hubby can't take it as he has a heart problem and is on lots of other medication.

I take Ibuprofen quite often for muscular pain in my back - mixed with paracetamol it does the trick. Never thought it could harm me.
This is quite worrying.

I used to take ibupropen everyday because I have a bad back. I cut back and take it once in a while now. I always knew it was bad for me, so what do you do when you have gut wrenching pain? I tried tramadol and it made my hair fall out, so stopped taking that.
