The post certainly reads just like the beginning of chapter one of those paperbacks that adorn W.H .Smiths shelves these days .
Go for it Art ! Make something of it if you have a creative mind .
I once saw a petite lady over reaching to get something from a deep freezer and fell in, not completely, but enough not be able to help herself. The man who rescued her became her husband. Real Mills and Boon.

Think we all did, before CCTV so no risk of finding herself on TV show.

She was a little embarrassed, her modesty was compromised briefly.

(Very clever post though)
I think it is possible to be attracted or repelled to people we meet Arty, and I don't necessarily mean people of the opposite sex.
Nothing sexual or anything like that, but it just seems easier to talk to some people than others. Even here on the forum, and judging by what people post, I can get an idea of the people who I would probably be friends with if I ever met them face to face....

My shins await your abuse Arty.......

I am used to this, Cinders, seeing as I am not even 5ft myself.
I usually wait for someone to hold my ankles before I delve in the freezers.

I had done my shopping in Waitrose and decided to have a look in Iceland. The aisles are very narrow in there and easy to get stuck if other customers are going in both directions whilst someone is looking in a freezer.

This happened yesterday. I passed a man and l made a joke about it. He joked back and l went on my way.
I had a quick look around and decided there was nothing l wanted. Being lazy, l thought l was nearer the entrance than the exit and l tried to get out there but l couldn’t. I headed back up the aisle to go to the exit and on the way met the man again.

He made a comment and we started to chat. He seemed very intelligent and l guessed he had gone to a good school and he had.
Somehow, age came up and we were born in the same year. I said, ‘You are a Virgo (starsign!) and he was. I said, ‘You are an only child’. He said, he was.

We chatted for probably an hour, don’t ask me why, the time just flew. This man was a stranger that l had just met.
He asked me my name, so l told him and l said, ‘Your name is David’ and it was!

In the past, l have guessed people who l have never met before, their occupations and have been right.

Have you ever read a stranger or guessed things about them and it turned out to be correct?

Be very careful Arty! You made a cmmon mistake of confusing
accent with intelligence!
And then engaged in coversation with him where he probably
extracted info from you, and he agreed with your suggestions
as to star signs etc? he sounds like a smoothy to me??
Regards Donkeyman!

That's a good point Foxy. Sometimes we meet people that we take an instant dislike to without any real reason. they don't even have to speak.
