Hi

Some info

https://www.ft.com/content/00bc55e4-...f-de1c2175f5ce

Existing users are OK, the problems are with all the new
which have not been catered for and who themselves will need new software.

Large amounts of our Imports are transhipped via the EU, Rotterdam and Antwerp in particular.

Duties, VAT etc are collected by the EU on our behalf.

We will now have to do it ourselves on landing here.

It is not an insoluble problem, it just takes time.

Our Civil Service has not got a good record of delivering on time.

The new Immigration System has no chance of being ready for !st January next year.

I am not an expert on these things.

I have friends directly involved in this.

There will be contracts to be negotiated and rushing through bad deals is how we ended up with PFIs.

Re: Brexit Day Bill from EU?

I saw some of UKs tangible assets today on TV!
Frank Gardener gave a tour of the BoE vaults in London!
It looked like a large Tescos for gold bullion entirely stocked with
bars of gold! Apparrently if you put one on the other they would be
higher than the eifel tower?
I thought gold had gone out of fashion?
Not sure it was all ours though as l saw some flags stuck about
here and there?
Impressive though!
