Re: £85,000 fine for jet lunatic

This reminds me of a trip in my younger days from the local youth club taken by a group of us and an instructor to a local coalmine. Having descended to the depths, I can't remember now how deep, we arrived at the bottom and got out of the cage. After walking along the short tunnel we came to a huge whitewashed door. One of the burly miners asked us which of us was the strongest. Of course you must truly stepped forward along with one of my mates and the minor asters to open the door. Even with both feet planted against the wall both as pulling together couldn't open it, puffing and panting we gave up. Whereupon the minor stepped forward released a small hatch in the door and then open it quite easily. We stood open mouthed as he explained that it was all about the difference in air pressure between one side of the door and the other. The doors were to maintain an equal air pressure in the tunnels which we hadn't realised.

Re: £85,000 fine for jet lunatic

What was the purpose of scrambling the RAF jets?

1) To shoot down the passenger plane?

2) To tow it back to base.

3) To catch falling passengers?

4) To make sure it didn't head for Downing Street?

What could the RAF do?

The woman might have been creating a diversion to assist terrorists to position themselves throughout the cabin.

If that had been the case and a hijack had succeeded then unless the aircraft followed precisely instructions from the ground or had appeared to be heading towards where it should not then it would have shot down.

Absolutely no question, passenger aircraft or crop duster. Curtains.

It's true you cannot open the door when cruising but most passengers probably wouldn't know that. She's lucky she didn't get a good pasting to add to her woes.

Where did the judge get the idea that a jobless woman can rustle up £85k?
It’s meaningless .
