My Mother and Other Strangers
Anyone following this?
Just watched the first episode.
1943 and an American airbase in deep rural Ireland with the culture clash you would imagine.
Gentle, savage, sad, poignant... I'm loving it.

An American air base deep in Ireland..... RUBBISH
To be fair thought Ireland was neutral in WW2 but thats being nice to the Micks but to be not nice... thought they supported Germany in WW2

I'm enjoying this too. My Irish cousins have been out and about in the area when they've been filming too. Love Sunday nights when this is on.

I've just watched last week's heartbreaking episode...god I just love this drama!
