Heard it on the radio, and seen it in the press, but as yet im not sure its a fact. Along with possible charges for GP appointments, and means testing for some medication for long term illness,its certainly worrying.Re: GP's charging?
I think they are going about this wrong if it's true, they need to stop people taking up GP time with nonsense and charging if you found to not have needed an appointment would sort that out, also why don't they triage patients ? they could use a nurse to weed out people who should be elsewhere, our GP (new broom sweeping through) is seeing so many people who either need walk in centre, A and E or could see the pharmacist. But because we don't know where to go they all go to the GP.Re: GP's charging?
