Re: View from your kitchen window.

The garage is dead opposite which is not particularly inspiring, so instead I have taken an oblique view.

From the kitchen of the family cottage in Maine, where we've been for the month of September, and have been coming to for the past 20 years.

Love those chickens, Missy. we used to have a little band of bantams that roamed our backyard, always herded along by a rooster who took good care to not lose any of his "girls".

I do love having the hens. We had ducks as well but just sold those, rehomed a bunch of the old girls to a care home, and got a bunch of new girls

Not from the kitchen window but the back yard from behind the garage. Freshly mowed but the surrounding bushes and trees are not plantings, just nature trying to take back the mowed portion.

Our kids, who are now 60 +/- used to be able to run and leap over that tree in the center of the field. It was only 3 or 4 ft. tall back then.
