How are you today Val ?My cold is now 5 weeks old and hanging on in there.
Recovering, but it's a slow process.
I've let those pussycats out on their own and hope my little E will be sensible and stay in the garden but fear D may lead her astray so I shall have to keep an eye on things

Hello all.
Hope its only a cut Val, anything else would soon be blown to bits out there!
Going out checking on my mother's house to make sure its not blown down in last nights gales! I'm sure there will be some bills waiting too. That's the trouble, gas and electric bills still keep coming even though its unoccupied. She has electric fan type heaters that are kept on during the winter to keep the place aired so the bills are quite high because of those.
Thankfully, because she is in a home, she is exempt from Council Tax and Water charges.

Rachel, I'm on my 7th day of productive coughing, I suppose it is lessening gradually. Doctor said if 1 week of antibiotics doesn't work I may need a longer course, so hoping it doesn't come to that.Not going dancing this afternoon, haven't got the energy for that, just as well as OH has been asked to collect grandson from school this afternoon.
Joy, I had the full works at the hairdressers, so it feels better and withstood the wind on the way back, which thankfully is nowhere near as strong as yesterday.

Sorry about that to all of you, but its something we all do,or will suffer from one day.i have been having problems logging in , and it will not remember me, so have been getting very stroppy with the site.
Its still raining, but its gradually moving the snow, we can now nearly see all of the garden, cvant do anything with it the ground is still frozen.
off for a walk now on a road free of ice and snow
