Scam?????

Could this be a scam of some sort. I have had an e mail supposedly from E Bay saying that they will let me know as soon as my returned package has been returned to them.
The thing is I have not returned anything to E Bay or anyone else.

Re: Scam?????

It could be a scam. Keep an eye on any account you might have on eBay.

That definitely has all the signs of a scam, big ben, there might even be a follow-up email asking for payment. Don't pay anything, give any bank or card details or click on anything. Deleting the email is probably the safest way. You will be able to find more information on the various experiences of OFF members regarding scams here:

Re: Scam?????

A word of advice. Ignore it and ideally delete it. Certainly don't click on it or use any link.

I contacted again then tell the buggers to write. If they ask for your address that proves it's iffy and DON'T tell 'em.

"If it's serious they'll come to your door.
If they don't then just ignore".

Re: Scam?????

I get those type of emails and like you I know if I've returned anything. Those mails go straight into the Spam Folder every time. If I return anything it's the Seller I deal with, not Ebay.

And even if they do, then still ignore!

Just hide behind the sofa because it could be the bailiffs!
