Happy Thursday Folk.

A grass snake in Wicksteed Park lake, taken yesterday. We watched it swimming in the lake for a good 2 minutes......the first time I've ever seen a swimming snake.
Pub lunching and shopping day today.........after more harvesting this morning.

Morning Alan, we dont have Grass snakes in Northumberland, but i often saw then on my Trips to Norfolk, was quite surprised to see how well they could swim.

Good morning everyone, foggy and damp out but a warm and dry day forecast, so that'll do nicely..

More berry picking for me too, and my mum is visiting us for lunch.

Another not too bad day here, so spent much of it cleaning up garden areas again.

Good morning all....Eeeeek - I don't like snakes!!!

I'm off to the peak district this morning with my friend - but not for walking. We're going to the Peak shopping village at Rowsley followed by lunch and a garden centre. I'm looking forward to a nice day out - think I'd better take one of Tonys walking sticks with me - the ankle still feels weak..

Nice picture Alan, he is a big one, I had one in my pond at my home some 25 years ago but he wasn't as fat as your one there.

No fog this morning so probably wont turn out so hot and sunny as it did yesterday. Have a good day all, God bless.

Morning all.

Not bothered about the weather today, as I shall be staying in, doing housework, changing bed linen (washing machine going now) and trying to decide how best to cook a lamb shank for tonight. Then the Urologist Consultant phoning at 3pm
