Re: Do you feel/look your age?
Without sounding vain in any way I do look younger than my 54 years, certainly in a physical sense. That's the opinion of others mostly.
I keep myself very fit and my diet is pretty good, so I guess I've ended up in good physical shape so far. I'm heavily muscled and have little fat but it has to be maintained throughout the rest of my life and that gets more difficult as the years go on. I have knee problem which is worse when I don't exercise it enough, so I keep tabs on that. Keeping fit ensures healthy bones and ligaments so hopefully I'll remain fit for some years yet.
My hair is greying but my skin is still wrinkle-free. My eyesight isn't brilliant and my hearing is fading.
Mentally I'm getting more forgetful which is a slight worry so I need to keep my eye on that. I'm also finding it more difficult to learn new things.
But who knows when an illness can strike which we have little control over? I count myself lucky so far.
