Bagels

I ate my first and last bagel today .
I always thought they resembled stale donuts .
I was right .

Re: Bagels

Oh no Muddy - I enjoy a good toasted bagel. Problem they can be so fattening especially when they are filled.

Things to do with a bagel (I don't mean chuck it at somebody)

Re: Bagels

Bought fresh - from a kosher Jewish bakery - they are delicious.

Anything else tastes like compressed sawdust.

Re: Bagels

Well Muddy, i'm with ST on this, don't buy Bagels from Supermarkets or Cafes, you have to go to the proper Jewish Bakery and have Cream Cheese and Gherkin or Salt Beef.

Look up on the Internet a Jewish Bakers in your area and try one.
