You suggest l have come up with with some sort of
answer? when my post was a question in entirety?
comprendez?

Regards Donkeyman!
Alas dear Assman English is obviously not your first language. A question requires a question mark at the end of the sentence.

The only question you asked was about an elephant. The rest of your message were merely poorly punctuated statements accentuated by an exclamation mark.

I hope this helps.

I don't. The idea of one animal owning another animal..and putting restrictions on its life just seems ethically wrong.

A goldfish would get over it and move on with it's business after 2 seconds

How do you know that is a kitchen worktop, Mags?
The kettle might be on the floor and those cupboards could be miniature 'cat cupboards' at the cat's eye-level

All animals of other species should have restrictions put on them or they would be totally out of control. Our animals were not permitted in the bedrooms or near food preparation or on our chairs etc.

Good post Tara.....Although most of our domesticated animals are reasonably clean, they can still carry Worms, Fleas and goodness knows what other types of disease. We have come a long way since living in the jungle. At least some of us have...
Wasn't Aids passed on to humans from animals?
Not every animal has our best interests at heart.
