Good post Tara.....Although most of our domesticated animals are reasonably clean, they can still carry Worms, Fleas and goodness knows what other types of disease. We have come a long way since living in the jungle. At least some of us have...Wasn't Aids passed on to humans from animals?
Not every animal has our best interests at heart.
