Tutankhamun In Colour

BBC Four 18th June 9.00 - 10.
I rarely scribble a note on the calendar to remind me to tune in to a particular program.
Very much looking forward to this one though!

Luckily I made it at the end of January Sue, but I found the display a little sparse for the money...

Re: Tutankhamun In Colour

Cast your minds back to 1972. The Tutankamun Exhibition at The British Museum. Quite newsworthy at the time, people were queing around the block for hours to get in.

My primary school class had the privilege of a private visit, how and why I'll never know.
The presentation was superb, black galleries and spot lighting on the exhibits.

The official catalogue cost seventy five new pence I think!
