Although, in principle, I'm against the death penalty, it's hard not to wish the world rid of the "evil" 5 - the details of their crimes is sickening .....

Since the federal death penalty was reinstated by the US Supreme Court in 1988, executions carried out by the national or federal government in the US have remained rare.

Before Trump took office, only three federal executions had taken place in this period.

All were carried out under Republican President George W Bush, and included inmate Timothy McVeigh, convicted of the Oklahoma City federal building bombing. Since 2003, there have been no federal executions at all.

If all five take place, Trump will be the country's most prolific execution president in more than a century, overseeing the executions of 13 death row inmates since July of this year.
It does seem that, yet again, Trump, unilaterally, decides on the US "government" policy .....

Worse than their crimes is no doubt that they were Democrats who said that Biden had won.

Wow, I wonder how he will perform this. Perhaps he will do it live on TV, bread and circuses. There is nothing like state sanctioned murder to get the masses baying for blood..

Am I the only one who finds this move psychologically creepy? It's like he's furious at the result and this is his way to satisfy his rage legally killing because he suddenly decides to say "off with their heads". While it may be justified by their terrible crimes it seems to me very theatrical in a medieval way. Get the masses baying for blood etc. Very King Joffrey behaviour.

More likely he was of the opinion that they were Lebensunwertes Leben in which he was certainly correct and was concerned that when the ANTIFA filth and their fellow travelers got control they would be released.
