Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

she's ok Roxy thanks, back at work today, she had strange taste and couldn't smell , very tired and headaches, my son had the vaccine a week past Wednesday
he works in a hospital and was tested before it ...he was negative, after getting the vaccine he was ill felt like he had the flu and was in bed all weekend, that can be side effects from this vaccine, he went to work on monday ,told his boss how he had been feeling, so they tested him again he got a text the next morning to say he was positive, but he has no symptoms, he's feeling ok now, but is isolating....

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Better to be safe than sorry, he's right to isolate IMO. Good your daughter is feeling a bit better, I don't think the younger ones get such a bad dose as we older ones do. I wish my daughter was feeling better, it's 2 weeks on Wednesday since she had the jag and is still off work. It's put me right off having the jag.

Morning All, still dark here but no frost, strange as there was a lot of frost forming on the greenhouse when we let the dog out for a wee at bed time. Monday again and a new week, stable duties for me today along with the usual house work. Have a good day ladies.

Roxy, sorry to hear your daughter's feeling ill, it does make you think twice about having it, I've heard that some vaccines cause more side effects than others, has she been tested since she had the jab...going to send for my car breakdown service today, might need a new battery...

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Paula, it's pain in her arm and shoulder, she doesn't feel ill. She did say yesterday that she had slight movement in it and she had none before. It's the muscle that's the problem it went into a spasm and locked. She couldn't do anything for herself like get dressed, get washed ect. Thank Heavens she has a decent husband who's been great at helping her.

I have been running my car every day, it went flat battery on me during the March Lockdown because of wee runs to the beach for the dogs walk. This time I make sure it does at least 20 miles a day, I go the long way and back everywhere I have to go, it's kept the battery charged so far.

I'm really getting fed up with driving and mot's and services, I just can't be bothered now,,,husband doesn't drive so everything's left to me, but on the other hand, I'd miss it for shopping .....can't win. hope your daughter's arm's better soon, it's awful when you can't do things that we all take for granted

Good morning. I've been reading that some folk have flu symptons and others a sore arm. Paula hope your son and daughter are feeling better. Roxy hope your daughter is as well. Not sure what to get up to today as boredom is popping in. I need some veg but I was reading on the local FB page that its quite icy out there at the moment.

Morning All, Back to the cold again. Lots of snow through the night and it's laying. Had a cold walk along Sandside Beach this morning and was glad to get home. Having trouble staying awake for some reason, think it'll be a snooze for me shortly.
