I have mackerel 3 times a week, part of my heart diet.

It is nice with horseradish.

Mackerel is best when you catch them on holiday, especially in Cornwall.
I like most all fish Art, but I guess my all time favourites have to be fresh herring, mackerel or sardine done on the barbie, delish...

Yes I do love kippers but can't stand the bones, so don't buy them any more, I do buy the Peppered Mackrael fillets and grill them though.

I love any Fish as long as its not got bones.

Anything to take the taste of the mackerel away eh?

I get the ready to eat mackerel with lemon and pepper - very nice but a bit salty.

Re: Do You Ever Have A Nice Kipper For Breakfast?

Frozen kippers from Iceland frozen food store are smashing, two fillets with some crusty bread and butter once a month is enough for me,

Freshly caught Mackerel caught off the coast of Devon once a month during the summer is another really nice treat,
roll on the summer when i can get the fishing gear out again can't wait
