Yes Susan did tell us of her one way journey to stay with her family, and I would hope she is treasuring every moment with them, not having concerns about posting on here.

I'm sure, at some stage, she or someone will keep us updated. Susan, if you're reading this, sending you hugs and best wishes.

How very odd! Just five minutes ago I had a sudden feeling that I should log on here again - only to find that this thread was created.

I'm doing quite well, things are obviously progressing and I am on medication for the pain, but I can still live daily life without too much hinderance.

I had to give up driving last week as my memory is starting to "go" and I'm having moments of confusion where I just can't think straight. It's all normal though, according to the doctor, and I'm doing much better than anticipated.

Tomorrow my brother and I will fly to Ontario, Canada so I can visit some friends there one last time. We may stay for a week or two, and will then return to Texas.

I still have unfinished business, and am not going anywhere just yet.

Thank you all for your concern, it warms my heart.

I'll try to log in here more often!
