Small butterfly



Watched this land on the plant so grabbed the camera. Anyone know what type it is?

The photo is so small, however, I do believe it is a Speckled Wood - just like this one.

We had some really tiny red ones here in Yorkshire, I've never seen them before....l bet this rain sees them all off.

I'm not good with names of them RS but we have those tiny brown ones too..

Realspeed, that is a small one. I found a very large butterfly on my back porch two weeks ago, and had a neighbor film it in my hand! What a beauty it was.

That looks like an escapee from a butterfly farm.
