Mups, I did have a guest today who ate four! Then my daughter had some when she came home from work.
I also make Scotch pancakes but no one else likes them! I still have some mixture, so l might have some tomorrow too!

I believe the original idea was that you used up all your delicious food - such as eggs - on Shrove Tuesday to prepare for the austerity of Lent.
