If Scotland gained independence they would have to re-apply to be a member of the EU as a stand alone country.I'm not sure that they would be allowed to join if certain criteria is not present. They would certainly have to be part of the Eurozone, as would we if we don't manage to exit.

The NHS. Would no longer be in Scotland ,you would have to have your own Scottish health service no support from England. The price of independence as would be everything else .Scot!and. Would have to support itself and stop scrounging from England as they do at the moment. Trading with the EU again distance by boat would be problem,And what on earth would they do without the English subsidy the Barnett formula.
