autumn and leavescollecting

heading should have been
autumn and leaf collecting. (for some reason or other one cannot correct a heading)

Yes yet another year of colllecting up acorns and leaves. Already done 3 sweeps of the back garden previous to get up the mast of acorns. Today 6 very large plastic conmmercial type bags of leaves/acorn collected. Where would I be without this wonderful blower

turns an all day job into acouple of hours or less

Oh bless you, I feel your pain though now I'm fortunate in only having coniferous trees personally.
Spring is a pain in my front garden here because of the amount of cherry blossom.

We have one also. I used to rake and pick up leaves manually and it would take weeks to clean up our property . Now it only takes 5 or 6 days.

Re: autumn and leavescollecting

I'm surrounded by trees so although my garden is tiny at the back its walled so leaves fall in and they stay there....i clear them every morning and by lunchtime its covered again.....the cats love chasing them as they fall I have a leaf blower but they are not so good in small spaces so my witches broom comes in handy

Re: autumn and leavescollecting

You can’t beat a good sweeping brush and a bit of elbow grease.

We have big trees at the bottom of our garden so loads of leaves which are swept up every dry day at this time of the year. I find it quite an enjoyable job not a chore, I keep the leaves in black sacks and let them rot down naturally, good for the garden!

Re: autumn and leavescollecting

I just leaf them.

I pick up pretty ones and press and laminate them to make Autumn decorations. Far less work.
