Would it work if you used a small mirror and reflected the sun onto a piece of cardboard I wonder? Anyway I don't know what I'm worried about, the weatherman said it's going to be lashing rain here at the time of the eclipse.

We will be able to see a partial eclipse in the Caspian at 13 :
50 my time (+4hrs) haven't looked outside as yet. But every chance it willbe clear.we shall see (maybe)

Very cloudy here in London. I can't see it clearing by 9.30ish, but who knows with this weather?

Hope some of you can see it at least.

It started out as a fantastic morning here mist rising off the fields and a clear sun in a blue sky but it has now clouded over from the North.

I have to pop to town so will be driving during the peak time.

Lovely clear sky at the moment - just come back from shopping - but the birds have all disappeared!
