Would you believe it - since I posted the last comment and walked out to the garage a huge black cloud has rolled up. Can still see the sun quite clearly though.

We have sunshine throughout the eclipse,the birds did get more verbal when it started .not a cloud in the sky.
No change in the wind I think the temperature as dropped a little .Notts

I think it was too dark here already with the cloud cover so hardly noticed it happen.
