Re: Geocaching

To be honest it was so small that I had to go back to it today to sign the log LOL fortunately it was not too far from home...it was bolt sized and magnetically connected to some railings -not even enough room for a pencil.....I now want to buy a GPS thingy so that I can do it seriously without having to go by clues alone..LOL

Re: Geocaching

I think Geocaching is similar to the old pastime of 'Letterboxing' , lots of walking with added interest

I watched the recent series on BBC 2 'The Edwardian Farm' where they went to Dartmoor Letterboxing on their day off.

Geocaching is something I would like to take up if I was younger and not a would be recluse

Meg darlin' - there's no 'would be' about it, I am a recluse - simply because Arthritic pain has put an end to my wandering.
