Re: What song moves you to tears?

'The Green Green Grass of Home' always strikes a chord with me , my Mam's name was Mary and Dad would sing
"Down the road I look and there runs Mary
Hair like straw and legs so hairy"

Cracked me up the first time he sang it but Mam wasn't too impressed

I don't know why 'You look wonderful tonight' always makes me sad but it does. Maybe I wasn't told often enough and now its too late.

Of course it could be that Eric Clapton is a brilliant musician and performer and I just love his guitar.

Re: What song moves you to tears?

I know you'll think I'm nuts if you know this song but it's one I loved from a kid. Its from '74 or '75 & called Sugar Baby Love.
One of those 1 hit wonders.

Depending what mood I'm in that one can bring tears to my eyes.

Another 2 songs are by the Bee Gees, RUN TO ME & HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART.

Both my parents died years ago & those songs remind me of them :'(
