Re: Do you still order out of catalogues

Someone still has to explain why the payment term choice was 20 or 38 weeks, 38 weeks, why 38, why not 20 or 40?

It would be good to meet the person who thought that one up, probably someone suffering Biprime Disorder.

Catalogues, no, bulky and out of date as soon as they are published.

Give me online every time. I rarely even venture into shops.

Re: Do you still order out of catalogues

In the 70s and 80s I had catalogues, Brian Mills, Empire Stores and later I had a Littlewoods one.

I used to use them to buy big stuff we couldn't afford to pay for all at once.

These days I only get seed and plant catalogues and an occasional one from Easy Life or Coopers or Ace. I'll have a quick flick through then order online normally.

Re: Do you still order out of catalogues

I buy DVDs and Books from Amazon, and there are several on-line firms from whom I buy Crafty stuff - but only when it is not available elsewhere, and I do buy wine by the case from Laithwaites!! (naughty - but nice!)

Would never buy clothes from catalogues or on-line because I like to feel fabrics, see how they drape, and to try on before buying - wouldn't want the hassle of returning things that were not suitable.

Yes .... I've lingered in lingerie ... I was once 14 too.

For years now I've done all shopping in shops ... Being a short bus ride from londons West end.
