Re: Marijuana & Euthanasia
Provided that all safeguards are in place and strictly adhered to, I think euthanasia or assisted suicide should be given as an option to those whose life is near an end or are in terrible pain. I also think that a person should state, while they are still compos mentis that, they should be euthanised if they develop Alzheimer's.Re: Marijuana & Euthanasia
Marijuana is easy - the money and time wasted because it is illegal makes absolutely no sense.Re: Marijuana & Euthanasia

My opinion is that, if they deal with the result of these 2 referendums they way they dealt with that last one, there will be no action, if the MP's have different opinions.Re: Marijuana & Euthanasia

Re: Marijuana & Euthanasia
The (oft forgotten) issue about euthanasia and assisted suicides is that life insurance claims are automatically redacted by insurance companies, as written within the policies. Although money isn't really a huge part of one's decision making process, it can at least help pay for funeral costs as well as subsequent legal fees. Bear in mind that the law would also have to be changed to take into account that, currently, any potential beneficiary is not permitted to benefit from the proceeds of what is an illegal act.
