Off into Skipton later to the farm shop ...have some shopping to do for a family dinner on Sunday and I'm going to get two pork pies at the pie shop in Skipton as a jokey type gift for a pal and her husband it's their Anniversary and they love pies from Skipton pie shop.....it will make them laugh

Good morning all.Have a great holiday Queenie.
It's wet and miserable here. My walk in the dales with my friend Chris is cancelled - we're going to the gym instead.
Tony is out with our son for the day so I will have time on my own when I get back. I want to make a meat & potato pie for dinner & sort some drawers out.
Plenty to be doing.

Good morning everyone tippling with rain here and a squirrel is eating my raspberries 
Oh well, he has only eaten one so not to worry as long as he doesn't do it every day .
I need to pop to the shops then may make some soup.
I managed to get all my leeks planted yesterday about 70 in all so the rain has come at just the right time to bed them in.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!Late on here this morning as I overslept, for a change! A definite chill in the air again this morning. The forecast is for rain, perhaps thundery later. Maximum temperature 19ºC so it does seem generally to be cooling down, thank goodness.
Some mundane chores to do, there is always something to do. Right now it’s not raining so an hour or so in the garden might be possible!
