Re: What book are you reading now?

I'm reading Melanie Browns autobiography Brutally Honest, she really did have a tough time while married to that brute Stephen Belafonte, she may be rich and famous but she still had a tough time

"Twenty-one Days" by Anne Perry, I do like her "vintage" novels.

I'm in the middle of Flight 19 by Grant Finnegan. I don't think it's particularly well written, but it's an intriguing tale, although I'm struggling sometimes to remember who's who as the chapters jump from passenger to passenger.

A Friend by Teresa Driscoll about three quarters of the way through and still not entirely sure what's going on. It's described as a emotional psychological drama but I'm getting annoyed with nearly all the characters only one I find at all sympathetic is the little boy

I was the same carol!

I've just finished If You Go Away by her.

At first I thought it was going to be a bit chick-lit, Oh man! Was I ever wrong!!! I actually yelled out loud on two occasions, lordruthio thought I was having some kind of funny turn!!
Will love to know your thoughts if you read this one...

Yes you should I have 2. The first one is the original keypad one and the latest is a Kindle paperwhite. I have hundreds of books on it. I get them free from amazon daily, that I subscribe to on the amazon site.
Some people say you can’t beat the holding of a ‘tree’ book.
Well for Christmas I got a book voucher that I went into a local book shop and got Dan brown’s Origin. It is so heavy compared to my kindle. Reading it in bed I have to have a light on. Not so when doing it with the kindle.
The other earlier Dan Brown books I read on the Kindle.
The library for Kindle books is huge and free, if you know where to look.

"Fugitive From The Grave" by Edward Marston, another Vintage detective novel. I love 'em!
