Awful Weather
I woke up this morning to torrential rain and the news that a huge tree had come down and is blocking Cheddar Gorge. Drove through twice yesterday! The only obstacles were goats and climbers.It always amazes me how majestic it is, however you can see that some of it would easily come down given adverse weather.
Constant work is going on to keep it safe.
What's the weather like where you are?

I tried to get my dog Dolores to go outside for a wee, she hates the wet ground! She wouldn't move from the porch, I tried pushing her from behind but she went all heavy and strongly resisted. I'll have to take her out on her lead earlier than usual, she will go with her coat on!Strange dog!

I got up at 1am for the loo and had to close the bedroom window the rain was splashing in. Got up this morning and it doesn't look any better absolutely persisting down here. Mud mud glorious mud Elsie brought back from her walk, Betty just looked at it and refused to walk, shes's not a mud and rain girlie at all.My neighbours camilla tree/bush has fallen over, he's out there trying to prop it up with wooden stakes so hopefully it will survive.
