Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Soggy again this morning, but the boys are all out mowing now so they're expecting it to warm up tomorrow. Took Rob out for lunch and did some shopping at Morrisons. Hoping Vanessa is coming up on Saturday so invested in some cans of pink grapefruit gin!

Glorious day here, third lot of washing in the machine.....

Went to U3A for a fascinating presentation about Education in the 21st Century by the Headmaster of Christ College, Brecon. What an inspiring talk - wish my grandsons were going there. Hoping that Jamie will cut my lawn later - it's rather long!

Think we've got the heatwave here, but it's now very dull and humid. Some family are silaging and the rest are shearing - I'm languishing in the shade.
Vanessa was supposed to be coming up today but got tangled up in traffic around Taunton and decided to go home! Presumably Glastonbury caused the chaos.

Temperature sure has dropped, cardigans on last night and this morning! Feeling very miffed
Air Canada has informed us that our flight to Halifax has been cancelled and they have put us on a flight to Toronto where we will have to change for another flight for Halifax. Hours longer and we won't arrive until about 11 pm instead of 2 pm! Grrr!
