Uk coal use!!

Uk used no coalfired electricity during lockdown!
And we now have the largest offshore wind power generation in the
world!
Something to cheer l think?

Much more wind power is generated than various dams. South America for example like Itaipu, the Three Gorges huge dams that China are making.............

Did'nt l say something about offshore wind Besoeker?
Apparently china/germany and holland are rated below uk and
we are in process off extending some more?
We are also a leader in completely weaning ourselves off of
coal usage?
The only fly in the ointment is we dont seem to manfacture the
turbines??
The article l saw earlier has now disappeared but what l write
here is on wikipedia!!

I do agree that off shore is helpful. Particularly in Scotland.

There are constraints though. Believe it or not, there are sometimes when wind can exacerbate scale.

Oh yes Bsoeker, l dont believe wind is the total answer bt IS part of the answer, and shoul be used in conjunction with nuclear for base load
generation!
We must kick EDFs arse to get one of them finished!
