One of my favourite LPs of all time, still listen to it quite often - it is on my Spotify playlist now. Definitely the best thing Van Morrison ever did.

I have tried twice to listen to it Bruce but I have a trapped nerve at the side of my spine and I am so high on painkillers and pads and I have not had a decent nights kip since Wednesday that I really cannot concentrate for long.

Will give it another go in a few days once I have visited the doc's.

Thanks for posting this, PSmith. Van Morrison has always been one of my favourite artists and Astral Weeks was certainly influential with many who followed. In particular Counting Crows and definitely Bruce Springsteen.
