Any Archer's fans?

We didn't have a TV for the first few years after we married and I became an Archer's addict. We must have been listening to it for about the last thirty years.
What do you all think of Mike's new wife?

I'm a fan, but keep missing it lately, so didn't know about Mike's new wife.

I must catch up as I think it's fab!

That last time I listened to the Archers was when Walter Gabriel was in it!

I listen avidly---I remember when Lilian and Jennifer were riding ponies round the village. My parents listened.

I am not sure about Vickie---I think Mike will have a rude awakening though.

I like the fact that the characters are usually well rounded and are not always likeable or always horrid.

I am usually a week behind as I listen to the omnibs on the computer.

Many years ago I used to live near Godfrey Baseley (outside Tewkesbury ) and my then best friend Margaret was in the Archers , I think she played a young Lillian but I am not sure now

I like to listen to the Archers when doing the ironing...
