Re: Fantasy or Nightmare???
I don't see the similarity with Nazi Germany. Parliament is there to make laws so they are doing what they are mandated to. We do not have a say in the laws they make, we can only lobby and protest. They make laws all the time. I'm not sure why nobody has noticed that until now.Re: Fantasy or Nightmare???
I think it's drawing a long bow to equate what's happening in the UK now with nazi Germany. But I have to admit that I have never seen British politics in such a mess as it is now. Correct if I'm wrong please but I think a strong opposition would be a start. Corbyn comes across as a disingenuous weasel to many non British observers that I have spoken to. He seems a bit like Bill Shorten here and the Labor (our spelling) Party. When it comes down to it I think people just didn't like him. Scott Morrison came across as more "fair dinkum". Is this the case with Corbyn?..Is he just not appealing to the people? Johnson needs to win the prime ministership in a general election to gain proper legitimacy and a solid mandate. Unless you do away with democracy altogether virtually overnight, the people will decide how much power he gets. You get the government you vote for. And with your first past the post system it becomes pretty clear very quickly does it not?Re: Fantasy or Nightmare???
Re: Fantasy or Nightmare???
Boris is completely useless as the general public mostly thought anyway.Re: Fantasy or Nightmare???
