But her 'compromise deal' was, in effect, a deal to keep us in the EU.

The EU elections? Yes, I certainly am.

And if his party stands in the next general election, yes I certainly will vote for them then too.

Silly me. I didn't know Nigel Farage New Brexit was an option in that election.

He most certainly is. If chosen he will be in the same faction/ in an alliance with AfD, the new german nazi-party, and the far right parties from france, italy and poland. He will feel quite at home amongst them.

It isn't actually 'Mays deal' but a nonsence cooked up by the EU and Oliver Robbins then given to May to put before parliament in the hope no one would notice the lack of real content .
This is from the Spectator last November...

Apparently May is holding 'private discussions' about holding a second referendum, however, it will take time to arrange and the EU elections should have already taken place in which a massive majority for the Brexit party should concentrate minds here and in the EU.
We have got until October when the article 50 extension ends to ditch May, replace her with a pro leave Tory leader and tell the EU what is acceptable to us or we just leave .

If that's true, and it doesn't surprise me one bit, then what possible use is May? Nothing more than a figurehead to announce what others have devised.

You are getting mixed up between a 'deal' and a 'treaty' signed by 28 countries including the UK!

If you don't want it, don't leave, simples!!!!

It seems that after 3 years you still haven’t leaned that it is the EU that has the upper hand in any negotiations as whilst leaving my without a deal will cause the EU some pain the pain and damage to the UK will be much greater
