Re: Coalition???

What about Jacob Rees Mogg, he certainly comes out with some very acceptable solutions.... And can match anyone in a verbal brawl.....
Not that it will be our decision, and I think he rattles a few cages in the HOC...

I don't want to see the collapse of the "ruling party" because there is nothing any better to take it's place. What I want is for a person within the party to come forward, bang everyone's heads together and get on with the business of sorting this debacle out. Unfortunately, I can't see anyone who could (or would be allowed to) do the job of governing. I believe we will rue the day that the idea of Brexit ever came along. It will cost this country and it's people dear - we won't get over this (if ever) for a very, very long time. It is the future generations who will suffer IMO. This country and the ordinary folks who are the majority is getting poorer and poorer IMO.

Although I agree with most of what you say Aerolor, I don't think it's the future generations you need to worry about. It's the here and now!
The country has been going down hill for the last forty years and it's time the people who lived through that forty years stand up and be counted, after all, the older generation have the most experience...

Sorry l cant endorse your views cocerning the supposedly
ruling party Aerolor! And lthink that the sooner we can conclude
this debacle the better for all concerned, l have just outlined
what l believe to be the speediest way to do it.
The incumbent party can have no influence due to its lack of
a workable majority! Hence a speedy GE is imo the only way
forward!
The time for chinwagging is over!

Re: Coalition???

Perhaps some of the Tory brexiteers should consider joining
up with Nigel, thus giving him some experienced politicians!
and then giving them what they have been working for eg
BREXIT! Ithink something like this could work?
It should help with support in a GE also?

It seems to me that May and her behind the scenes backers have so damaged the Conservative Party that rather than vote Tory in a GE in the immediate future or untill it radically changed there is a real danger that Labour, probably in coalition with the Lib Dems would form the next government.

Then the whole country really would be in trouble.

Give me some examples please Todger! I think l may
have missed them?
But do you think it has some merit or not!
I agree a Corbyn / lib dem coalition is a possible danger as
the status quo are likely to temporarilly unite to see off
the threat of a newcomer entering the arena!
However, we cant live in fear of what COULD? happen
It is time to do our best to make change take place!
IMO!
