Move over rich list

I took £10 today from the display outside the house

It pays for the seeds and at 60p for a tomato plant or £1.15 for an all female cucumber in a five inch pot it has to be a bargain.

I would pay that OG - the amount of messing around I have had keeping them warm and fretting about them, that price is a bargain. Double your price!!!

I wish I was nearer too, I am struggling with my tom plants, all that potting up.

I gave some plants to my daughter so I wouldn't have so many to look after, she accepted them and I am still looking after them

Re: Move over rich list

I try to cover my costs and make a few shillings-if folks drive by and go to the garden centre to pay more so be it.

The trouble is so many `displays` outside houses are seling crap to be honest so why should a passer by think mine was any better?

But some know me and come back every year-sod the profit. It makes me feel good when they ring my bell even though the plants are outside just to say `hello"

Hey OG - my toms have a little yellowing on the leaves - not all of them, just a few. Any ideas?

Bottom leaves?-just above the first not true leaves?

It happens. None of us can grow perfect plants all the time .

Too cold? or even sunburn!!

Not every plant I offer for sale is perfect-

But what really matters is the top-if that is healthy the plant will recover
