we were probaby healthier .
We had to get off our backsides and walk to the paper shop to get the news
Ditto the library for books .
We made conversation and did more hobbies .
Visited people instead of emailing them .
Now it's us and a little screen .

We still can live without them, although a phone for emergencies is useful as they seem to have taken most public phones away.

Only thing I couldn't live without is the car. That gives me so much independence and takes me places I couldn't go without it.

That's a good one but we manage at our caravan so it's not so important as to be something we can't live without.

Malcolm, I think I could live without a few of the things you mentioned!
I couldn't live without electricity, central heating, constant hot water. My dishwasher, Magimix, my children and occasionally ...men!

I could not live with out my family & friends....they a pain the neck some time, but how I can live with out them in my life? ... computer & internet I can easily do with out it...mobile phone I not need very much...red & green peppers is nice for cooking, but not necessary ..... family and friend is necessary! xo
