I don’t log on very often so I wasn’t even aware there are Birthday threads here.I can’t remember whether my date of birth on here is visible or hidden - perhaps I should check and make sure it’s hidden!
I’m cautious about giving out identifying info online, so I don’t put my real date of birth on any online forum.
I remember someone on a small friendship forum I was a member of - most of us had got to know each other at meet ups etc and Birthday threads were a regular thing. One lady was rather embarrassed when she logged on to find someone had raised a Birthday thread for her and lots of friends had wished her Happy Birthday - she posted to thank them all but confessed it wasn’t really her Birthday for another few months. Like me, she had just made up a date when she first completed the site registration details.

Yes, I would be rather upset because my birthday date is deliberately 'hidden' on my Profile.Should it have become visible for whatever reason though I wouldn't be upset in the least if nobody posted on my birthday thread – none of them would be invited to my birthday party with free food, free-flowing alcohol, music and nubile young females – NOT!
All on OFF would be welcome, although unfortunately none of you know where I live!
Excuse my strange sense of humour, I'm having a 'silly morning' this morning!

Well, there's a thing! I have never noticed the "Today's Birthdays" section at the bottom of the Home page - Probably because I never scroll down that far, I always stop once I get to the Games and Quizzes section.
I had always assumed that people knew the birthdays because they found them in the profile pages. Just goes to show that you learn something new each day.
