Jean we always had trifle as well, that was for Christmas teatime when eveyrone was still full of lunch

I also still have a pudding left from last year. I think as you get older a Christmas pudding seems too rich and heavy. I always keep one in if we have visitors though.

I always make my own Christmas cake though.

One of my big hates is sherry trifle. Strange cos I love a glass of sherry but the combination just makes me feel sick. Don't like the texture of the soggy sponge fingers at the bottom of trifle anyway so definitely not one for me.

Is your Christmas pudding like a fruit cake? If so, I dislike them, full of rum and weird colored candied fruit, green and red ........

Its similar apart from the vividly coloured fruit. Mostly raisins and sultanas with some cherries and nuts and usually laced with rum or brandy. It is traditional to pour brandy over it and set light to it when it is served. I love it

Joe doesnt like Christmas pud but I have an individual one from M&S, dont know yet what we are eating this Christmas,usually its Salmon.Unless Adrian comes then he will cook dinner as he has a healthy appetite.
